Key Words: Introspection, Strength, Memory, Ability to Adapt, Steadfastness.

As partners on this earthly realm, the animal kingdom and the human kingdom need to live in harmony. The four animals shown on this card shows us the four attributes we need to foster in our lives. The Bear is a strong and powerful animal, able to survive on periods of little sustenance. He retires during the season of winter to live on the food he has eaten through summer. To be like the Bear, we need times of activity and also times of rest and contemplation. The Elephant, is known for it's strength, and it's memory of past events. The Fox for its ability to meld into it's surroundings, keen observation, cunningness, and adaptability. This particular Tortoise is now only found free on the Galapagos Islands of the South American Coast.  It is an endangered species, and is known for its ability to live to a very old age. The Tortoise never hurries, it appears to flow in tune with its surroundings.   It is a personification of the Goddess energy, and is linked with the earth. 

INDICATIONS: It is time to tune into the harmony and rhythm of your own particular natural instincts. Those of the wild animal kingdom always move in total harmony with the inner callings of their particular kind. Only mankind and domesticated animals have fallen out of rhythm with the cyclic rotations of life. 

SUGGESTIONS: Look at your life to see if you are in tune with your own cyclic pattern. Be objective and try to incorporate the positive attributes of the, Bear, Elephant, Fox and Tortoise. 

HEALING THE PLANET:  Radiate your love out to the Animal Kingdom, always remembering, everything on this earth moves in cycles, including mankind.
