Key Words: Gentleness, Fear, Light, Dark, Power, Leadership, Communication. This card represents the attraction of opposites. Within each of us there are waring fractions. The good, the bad, the light the dark. The Deer represents the gentle, sensitive and the fearful side of our duel nature. The Lion, the strong, powerful and ruthless side. Much energy is wasted within the physical form by the waring of negative and positive thoughts. By watching these opposites from a detached view we can learn to combine their individual characteristics, and balance will be achieved. INDICATIONS: Balance needs to be achieved. It is important to consider all aspects of your personality in a detached manner. Each of us have within our personalities, traits which we consider to be contradictory or negative. These so called negative aspects when looked at in the right light, often turn out to be our most powerful attributes. SUGGESTIONS: This is an exercise in looking clearly at the different sides of your nature. Centre yourself, and feel the energy of light coursing through your body. From this point of consciousness, objectively imagine yourself aligning totally with the part of your nature that you consider to be the more positive. Give this part a name. For example, Mrs Bossy, The caretaker, etc. From this point of mind, write down in short sentences, all the negative, and positive traits this part of your nature. Once you have finished this task, objectively write down both the negative and the positive parts of the part of your nature that you consider to be negative, or weaker. You may also like to name this part. You may find that there are more than two characters in this interchange, give each one a name for easy identification and continue until you have written down all those so called negative traits. When you have completed these lists, from a neutral position, objectively ,and compassionately see what needs to be done to change each negative statement into a positive, or workable one. Be totally honest with yourself, and delve deeply into those so called negative traits to look for the gifts that they have to offer you. The saying "Behind every cloud is a silver lining" is very appropriate here. HEALING THE PLANET: Simply by balancing yourself, you will help in the healing of the planet. |
